W. Herb Hawkins

B.S. Chemistry, M.B.A./Chairman/President & General Manager

W. Herb Hawkins was Manager of Natural Gas & Crude Oil Marketing for Sohio Petroleum Company and its many successor companies; BP Gas Company, Texcon Oil & Gas Company, PG & E Resources Company, Dallen Resources Company.  He is a Chemical Engineer and has been active for over 20 years in various Natural Gas and Crude Oil Marketing trade associations; NGEAO, NGMH, RMGA, NTGA, NTEA, AGA, and API.  Since leaving the major Oil Company scene in 1995, he joined his father in Hawkins Petroleum Consulting & Investments, Incorporated, founded in 1989 by his Father. He has assisted with numerous consulting cases representing companies such as Amoco, Exxon, Shell, Columbia Gas, Tenneco Gas, Texas Eastern, Quintana, Champlin, Arkla, Snyder Oil, Goldston Oil, Burlington Northern Resources, Anadarko Petroleum and other individual Royalty Owners.  He joined his Father in 1995 and became President of Hawkins P.C. & I., Inc. in 1996.  He became majority owner and CEO in 1998.  The company participates and owns interests in Oil & Gas production in East Texas, South Texas, Mississippi, North Louisiana, Southern & Western Wyoming and Southern Arkansas.  It also participates in low risk developmental drilling projects and has interests in a H2S Treating Plant as well as Natural Gas Gathering Facilities.  In addition to the Oil and Gas Operations, the Company is engaged in other activities, i.e., Aerial Photography, Commercial Office Leasing, Residential Rentals & Property Management, Bathtub Sales and other misc. investments.  Herb has a BS from Oklahoma State University and an MBA from the University of Arkansas.  He also has been a certified Private Pilot since 1972.

Harold M. Hawkins, Petroleum Engineer/Vice President & Chief Consultant  (6/1/1924 - 10/31/2007 Deceased  Age 83)

Harold M. Hawkins was Senior Vice President, Natural Gas Marketing Worldwide for Amoco Production Co. and Chairman of the Board, Amoco Gas Co. when he retired October, 1988. He was a Registered Professional Engineer and had been active in SPE, AGA, and API.  During his tenure at Amoco, he served in various positions of increased responsibility from Research Analyst and District Engineer to Senior Vice President & Chairman of the Gas Pipeline Company. Since retirement, He had been a consultant and expert witness, representing many Companies.  Harold passed away in October of 2007 but not before establishing/founding a second Oil & Gas holding company, Hawkins Resources, Inc. which is still in existence today.  Hawkins P.C. & I., Inc. is now owned and operated by W. Herb Hawkins and Loretta W. Hawkins.  His family home, where he was raised, has become an integral part of the Rogers Arkansas Historical Museum. It is officially known as the "Hawkins House". He donated his share (66%) to the City of Rogers, AR. He remained very active in various charities in the city and county and the Univ. of Ark. prior to his death He participated in the Rogers Community Based Scholarship Program, and served on the Boards of Volunteer Ambulance Service, Benton County Adult Development  Center, the Benton County Historical Society, Board Chairman and Elder of First Christian Church, Disciples of Christ. He was very instrumental in the renovation and restoration of the Rogers Little Theater in Downtown Rogers and has a conference room named in his memory. He served on Arkansas Governor Huckabee's 19th Judicial District Criminal Detention Facilities Review Committee. After serving as Kiwanian Club President in 1998, he was recommended by the Kiwanis Club of Rogers and then was inducted into the Kiwanis International Tablet of Honor in 1999. Harold was a WWII veteran and obtained his PE BS degree from the University of Oklahoma.    In 2007 at the age of 83, Harold passed away to be with his Lord, Jesus Christ.
